Selim Nurudeen, MBA, OLY

Hello, I’m Selim Nurudeen. I’m an Instructional Designer, E-Learning Developer, and Graphic Designer based in Orlando, Florida. I find innovative learning solutions for clients in need of training or education. I am experienced in E-Learning Development, managing learning programs, and graphic and web design. I have always been interested in learning since I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder at a young age. This made conventional classroom learning very difficult for me. Through exploration, I gravitated towards alternative learning styles such as online learning and gamification.

I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2005 with a Bachelor’s in Industrial Design and then a Master’s in the same field in 2008 from Arizona State University. In 2015, I acquired my MBA from Florida International University, and then in 2019, I achieved my Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design from the University of Central Florida. My road to this field has indeed been a long journey!

Despite the degrees, I have other interests besides education! While at The University of Notre Dame, I was an All-American in the 110m Hurdles and went on to compete in the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympics.

I develop innovative learning courses from storyboards using Articulate Storyline  3/360 and Rise

I design the instructional experience through learning objectives, SME relationships and content creation

I facilitate in-person and virtual led training modules to ensure a condusive learinng  experience

I combine learning strategies with design principles to create effective Job Aids and Infographics
